Laser Diode Driver (LLD/ILD)

LLD

Description

The LDD laser diode driver is a combination current and temperature controller with sophisticated front-panel menu operation and plain text computer command interface via ethernet and USB. A high-precision current source drives a wide range of diodes at up to 8A. The flexible computer-defined PID temperature controller provides capacity for a wide range of TEC devices up to 60 W.

The LDD is designed for use with our MOA/MSA series of tapered amplifiers, as well as high-power diodes for lasers and fibre amplifiers. The ILD is a variant of the LDD to autonomously operate the injection lock amplifier (ILA).
