Frequency doubling/mixing (MGFM)

MGFM

Description

The MGFM uses single-pass quasi-phase-matched non-linear crystals for frequency doubling or mixing. A precision crystal oven is included, powered and controlled via a single USB-C connection. Optical output power is up to 5 watts at many important wavelengths such as 780nm, 795nm, 765nm, 644nm. Configuration options include a broad range of PPLN crystals, fibre input and output, and dual fibre input for wavelength mixing.

Single-pass conversion (no cavity required)

Eliminates the need for cavity locking, enabling simple and robust operation.

Broad wavelength flexibility

Supports many important wavelengths including 780nm, 795nm, 765nm, and 644nm, with configurable PPLN crystals.

Frequency doubling and mixing

Supports both SHG and sum-frequency generation (SFG) with dual-input configurations.

Integrated temperature control

Precision crystal oven with control via USB-C connection.

Fibre-coupled options

Supports fibre input/output for easy integration into optical systems.

Features

  • Compact
  • Simple Integration
  • Cost effective
  • Access to unique wavelengths

System Integration

MGFM modules are designed for easy integration into existing optical systems. With no cavity locking required and support for fibre coupling, they provide a flexible solution for both standalone use and incorporation into more complex photonics setups.
