Description

Compact fibre laser systems with integrated amplification and wavelength conversion

The MGPA series from Santec combines a seed laser and fibre amplifier in a compact, standalone platform. Supporting both ytterbium (Yb) and erbium (Er) wavelength ranges, MGPA systems provide stable output with flexible configuration options and optional frequency conversion.

Designed for ease of integration, the MGPA supports internal or external seed sources and offers remote operation via USB-C or TCP/IP.

  • 1000 - 1120nm (Yb)

Output power depends on seed configuration and wavelength.

Waveguide doubler enables access to visible wavelengths:

System Integration

MGPA systems are designed for seamless integration into fibre-based setups. They can operate with internal or external seed lasers, including DFB/DBR and CES systems, and can be combined with waveguide frequency doublers to extend wavelength access.
